Beach location in the Netherlands
Would you like to combine your activity or workshop with a drink, lunch or BBQ? UP Events works at various beach locations along the North and South Holland coast. With us you will find the best beach activities. If you have a location yourself and you only want to book an activity or workshop, this is of course also no problem.
We also have our own ‘beach’, a lovely place surrounded by palm trees, sand and lounge areas. Organize your company party, staff party or team building day here and end the evening with a delicious BBQ or drink. This is of course possible with us, but also at the other beach locations.
Castricum by the Sea
Castricum by the sea is located in the middle of the North Holland Dune Reserve to the west of Bakum and Castricum. It is mainly known for its tranquility, space and beautiful nature. There is no boulevard like in Zandvoort and Scheveningen.
Noordwijk by the sea
Noordwijk by the sea is also called the flower seaside resort of the Netherlands because of its location in the bulb region. With a coastal strip of up to 13 kilometers, it is one of the longest coastal strips in the Netherlands. It has more than 1,000,000 overnight stays per year.
Wijk aan zee
Wijk aan zee is located in the North Holland Dune Reserve in the Midden-Kennemerland region and is part of the municipality of Beverwijk. Wijk aan Zee has a lovely beach where various beach activities can be practiced.
Zandvoort
Zandvoort lives from tourism and is best known for the Formula 1 circuit. Zandvoort is perfectly accessible by rail and you can walk to the beach within a few minutes. It has more than 30 beach pavilions that are open from March to October. There are more and more pavilions that are open all year round, so you can also go here if you want to do something fun in the winter months.
Bergen by the sea
Bergen by the sea is a coastal village in the municipality of Bergen. It is one of the most beautiful villages in North Holland and has a mystical appearance, which is probably the reason that so many artists live there. The beach of Bergen by the sea has a length of three kilometers. The beautiful beaches and the North Holland dune reserve guarantee a wonderful outing.
Bloemendaal aan Zee
Bloemendaal aan Zee lies between the beaches of Zandvoort and IJmuiden, with the Zuid-Kennemerland National Park as the hinterland. It has a beach with a length of 4.3 km. With 7 trendy beach pavilions and a great popularity among young people in particular, Bloemendaal aan Zee can call itself the hippest seaside resort in the Netherlands.
Hoek van Holland
Hoek van Holland is the coastal location closest to Rotterdam. It has a beautiful wide beach with a length of 3.5 kilometers. The view of the ships that pass to the port of Rotterdam is phenomenal.
Kijkduin
Kijkduin is the second seaside resort a stone’s throw from The Hague city center. The growth that Scheveningen has experienced in the last century has not taken place in Kijkduin. This makes Kijkduin very popular with people who want more peace and space on the beach. Free parking is available and the dunes are very suitable for scooter or GPS tours.
Scheveningen
Scheveningen is the most popular seaside resort in the Netherlands. The wide beach is ideal for beach activities and workshops. The renewed boulevard is ready and that’s good because summer is coming again.
IJmuiden by the sea
IJmuiden by the sea has one of the most beautiful and certainly the most spacious beaches in the Netherlands. All activities are possible here, including blokarting and RIB sailing. There are four pavilions that are open all year round so you don’t have to wait until the summer months to do something exciting. IJmuiden Beach can be reached directly from Amsterdam by bus.
