Workshop Wooden shoe art
From now on UP Events offers you a brand new cultural workshop named wooden shoe art, in which you will learn how to paint a wooden shoe, or as we Dutchies say, klompen. Did you know that the first klompen or wooden shoes were worn in the Medieval times? At first people wore wooden sandals, which were replaces by more sturdy, comfortable shoes, which we now know as klompen. The making of wooden shoes was a real artisinal craft.
